Six Steps Between a Short Video and a Report That Explains You

Most people who come to us first ask one question: what actually happens there? Here is the full answer, without cutting corners and without hiding the parts where a person, and not a machine, is involved.

The process

What Happens, in Order

  1. Registration

A few minutes, no long forms

You choose the type of assessment that fits the question on your mind, fill in basic contact details, and complete the payment.

There is no personality questionnaire, no test, and no questions about your past. The only thing required of you is your informed consent to having a video of you analyzed.

  2. Recording the video

At home, on your phone, no preparation

You receive simple instructions: reasonable lighting, a camera at face height, and a quiet background. The filming is done from your own device, at a time that suits you.

There are no right answers and nothing to prepare for. In fact, the less you prepare, the more accurate the assessment will be, because micro-expressions are precisely the reactions the brain produces before awareness has time to edit them.

  3. The analysis

Hundreds of data points from every second

The video is broken down into individual frames. Each frame is scanned to detect action units in the facial muscles: those tiny movements that last up to a fifth of a second and are not picked up by the eye.

The units are cross-referenced with one another, examined in the context of what was said at that moment, and translated into recurring patterns. A single pattern says nothing. A pattern that repeats itself dozens of times says a great deal.

  4. The human writing

This is where the person comes in

The raw results are passed to me to read. I go through the findings, identify which of them matter for the specific question the person came with, and write the report in language that can be used.

This is the stage that separates a system's output from an assessment. An algorithm can say that a pattern exists. It cannot say why it matters to you in particular, right now.

  5. Receiving the report

A written document, yours for good

You receive a detailed written report: not a score, not a graph, and not a classification into a category. A text describing the inner structure, the strengths, the obstacles, and the practical recommendations.

The report stays with you. Many people return to it months later and discover things in it that they did not see in the first reading.

  6. The conversation

We don't leave you alone with the document

After receiving the report, you can arrange a conversation in which we go over the findings together, ask questions, and translate the insights into steps.

The conversation is especially important in the assessment of a child or teen, where parents need to know not only what was found, but what to do with it tomorrow morning.

Technical requirements

What You Need to Film

No special equipment. The phone you are reading this line on is completely enough.

  • Camera at face height

Not from above and not from below. Place the device on something stable, not in your hand.

  • Lighting from the front

Natural light from a window facing you is best. Avoid a window behind your back.

  • A quiet place

No background noise and no people walking into the room in the middle.

  • A visible face

No hat that casts a shadow, no mask. Glasses and a beard are perfectly fine.

Privacy

What Happens to Your Video

We ask people for something intimate: a video of their face. This obligates us to be precise about three things.

The video is not published

The video is used for analysis only. It is not shown to anyone, not shared, and not used for marketing in any form.

The report belongs to you

The report is delivered to you alone. We do not pass it to a third party, not to an employer, an institution, or a family member, unless you explicitly asked us to.

You can ask for deletion

At any stage you can contact us and ask for the materials to be deleted. We will carry it out and confirm to you in writing.

The full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Frequently asked questions

What People Ask Before They Sign Up

How long does it take to receive the report?

Usually between a few days and a week, depending on the type of assessment and the workload. We would rather take an extra day than release a report that was not written properly.

What happens if the video I recorded is not clear?

We will let you know and ask for another recording at no additional charge. We do not analyze material whose quality is not sufficient; it is better to film again than to build a report on weak data.

Do I need to prepare or think about something in advance?

No. There are no right answers. We are not testing knowledge, memory, or performance, but the automatic reactions that appear on the face during ordinary speech.

Can I film with glasses or a beard?

Yes. Glasses and a beard do not prevent the analysis. What matters is that the face is well lit and that the camera is steady at face height.

What is the difference between this and a regular personality test?

A personality test is based on what you report about yourself. It is limited to what you know about yourself and what you are willing to say. Micro-expression analysis does not go through self-report at all: it reads reactions that happen too fast to be edited.

Does this replace psychological therapy?

No, and explicitly not. The assessment is a tool for understanding, not a medical diagnosis and not therapy. In cases where a therapeutic need arises, we say so honestly and recommend turning to a licensed professional.
