Children's Emotional Challenges Assessment
Behavior is always a symptom. The only question that matters is what it is trying to say.
Who it suits
The assessment was built for
- Parents who feel they are not managing to reach their child
- Parents of a child whose behavior has changed and it is not clear why
- Educators who want to understand a student in depth
- Parents who have already tried several approaches and none of them lasted
What you get
What Is in the Report
The child's emotional structure
How they experience things, what overwhelms them, and what actually calms them.
What lies behind the behavior
The unmet need, of which the behavior is the expression.
The child's strengths
When a child is struggling, it is very easy to forget what they are good at. The report brings that back into the picture.
A tailored educational approach
What will work with this specific child, and what, even if it is generally right, will in fact harm them.
The child is not trying to make things hard for you
Almost every parent who comes to us asks a variation of the same question: why is he doing this. The answer is almost never that the child wants to upset anyone. Children use behavior when words are not available to them, either because they do not have the words, or because they do not believe anyone will listen.
When you understand which need the behavior serves, the behavior stops being mysterious. And often it weakens on its own the moment the need is met in another way.
An important clarification
This is a tool for understanding and parental guidance. It is not a psychological, developmental, or medical assessment, and does not replace turning to a professional. In situations that raise real concern, turn to a child psychologist or a licensed therapeutic professional.
Frequently asked questions
What People Ask Us
From what age is it possible?
The assessment is suitable for children who already speak and are able to sit in front of a camera for a short time. When you contact us, we will be glad to check suitability for the specific age.
Does the child need to know they are being assessed?
We warmly recommend yes, in language adapted to their age. A child who feels they are being examined in secret will react to it, and it is also not fair to them.
Does it replace a psychological assessment?
No, in no way. It is a tool for parental understanding. If a real concern arises, turn to a licensed professional.
